5 Keys to Improving Work|Life Balance |

Here are the five keys to improving your work-life balance: - Decide what’s really important to you. Learn how to build clarity around what you really want out of life. One of the most effective techniques in determining this is to think about what you want people to say about you at your own funeral.
- Eliminate non-essential activities. Like having weeds in your garden, unnecessary activities will keep the good things from growing.
- Make time for yourself. Do you make a mad dash for your phone when it rings? Why don’t you have the same sense of urgency for your own needs that you have for someone else’s? Give yourself permission to spend time just on you and things you enjoy. It’s okay to turn off distractions. After all, you’re worth it!
- Accept help from others. No one is able to live life effectively without depending on someone else. It’s okay if you can’t do it all on your own. If you’re not good at something or need to do something else that’s more important, allow others to pitch into help you. Then, someday when you have achieved balance, you’ll be able to do the same for someone else.
- Plan fun as diligently as you plan work activities. If you’re really going to enjoy life, you need to spend some time planning ways to enjoy it. Work gets accomplished by design, fun and leisure time can be designed, too.
Now that you have the knowledge, you should consider applying that knowledge with a tool that’s specifically designed to help you experience peace and balance in your home and in your work. We created the Dynamic Bubble Planner to manage your whole life in a way that gives you control and reduces stress.
